Backstory

Maurice Windborne was disowned by his parents in his early childhood. With nowhere else to go, he went to a local orphanage where he spent most of his childhood. He had a hard time getting along with his peers, not fitting into any friend group. Other children would bully and steal from him Niu Loneblood - SpyRuben .

In his late teen years a wizard guild came to the orphanage to recruit new potential spellcasters. Being the only one potentially worthy of training there the guild adopted him as an adept.

After years of studying he had learnt many things to become a great wizard. He left the guild and went to live his life in seclusion. He spent years learning the art of alchemy, brewing various potions and such.

One day, he decided he stop living the solitary lifestyle and set out on a journey to the next town over. He traveled from place to place, looking for the right spot to settle in.

In one of the towns he came across a certain paladin (Weed Dude) which was “blessing” the local townspeople. When it came turn to bless Maurice, he received the blessing and suddenly collapsed to the ground. A short inspection later he came to realise that his lower extremities’ bones had turned to jelly.

After a few days since the traumatising event, Maurice came across a travelling circus, which offered to take him with them if he were to perform as “the Noodle Man”. And so he did, travelling across various towns.

After his last performance at the circus he was approached by a warforged artificer called A.Z.P.E.N., who offered to craft him a magic wheelchair. Maurice gladly accepted the proposal, and after 3 days of designing and crafting he was presented with his new mobility device.

Feeling a need to repay A.Z.P.E.N. Maurice decided to join his party.
